Frequently Asked Questions

Once you place your order, you will receive a prompt confirmation email detailing the next steps. This email will include simple instructions on how to send us the wording and any specific requests you have for your memorial tribute.

Because we are a family-run business with over 40 years of experience, our dedicated in-house design team is here to assist you every step of the way. If you are struggling to find the perfect words, we are more than happy to help guide you in choosing a fitting and beautiful inscription.

Absolutely. We understand how important it is that every detail is perfect. Once you have supplied your wording, our design team will create a digital sample layout of your tribute, usually within 48 hours.

We will email this mock-up directly to you. This gives you the opportunity to carefully review the text, check the spacing, and approve the overall design in your own time before any physical engraving begins on the stone itself.

Yes, you certainly can. When we send over your free digital layout, you can request adjustments to the wording or the design. We will happily revise the layout and send it back for you to view again.

However, please be aware that once you have given your final approval and the stone moves into the manufacturing phase, it is immediately scheduled for permanent engraving. At this point, it will be too late to alter the text, so we always recommend double-checking names and dates on your digital sample.

We take great pride in crafting your tribute with the utmost care, blending traditional methods with the latest technology.

Our overall processing time is typically 1 to 2 weeks. Breaking this down: you will usually receive your sample layout within 48 hours of supplying your text. Once you approve that layout, the physical manufacturing and engraving process takes between 5 to 7 working days. As soon as your stone passes our final quality checks, it will be securely packaged and dispatched to your door.

We exclusively use premium, solid granite for our memorial stones and plaques. Granite is an incredibly hard-wearing, dense, and timeless natural stone that has endured the elements for millions of years.

Drawing on our four decades in the memorial industry, we select only the highest quality granite to ensure your tribute remains a beautiful, lasting marker that stands the test of time and weather.

No, there are absolutely no hidden fees. We believe that personalising a memorial should not come with financial pressure, which is why we include your custom wording at no extra charge.

Unlike some traditional stonemasons who charge by the letter, our pricing is fully transparent. Our in-house design team will even help you explore different text colours and layouts to ensure the stone looks exactly as you envision it, all included in the original price.

We understand that receiving a memorial is an emotional moment, so we ensure the delivery process is as smooth and secure as possible.

We entrust all our deliveries to Parcelforce tracked delivery, allowing you to follow your package's journey to your home. Furthermore, standard delivery is completely free of charge to all UK mainland addresses.

Yes, entirely secure. We use PayPal as our trusted payment gateway, giving you total peace of mind.

You do not need a PayPal account to place an order; the system allows you to easily and securely check out using any major credit or debit card. Because the transaction is handled externally by PayPal's encrypted servers, our team never sees, records, or stores any of your sensitive payment details.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. For standard, non-personalised items, we offer a full refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt, provided the items are unused and returned in their original packaging.

Due to the permanent, bespoke nature of our custom-engraved products, we cannot offer refunds on personalised stones that have been correctly manufactured to your approved digital layout. However, if an error has occurred on our end that differs from the proof you signed off on, we will resolve the issue and replace the stone immediately at no additional cost to you.

Yes. We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. We provide a 2-year guarantee on all our memorial stones against weathering.

Because we use dense, high-grade granite and premium memorial infill paints, your tribute is designed to withstand the UK climate and remain highly readable and beautiful for many years beyond this guarantee period.

To achieve the best possible finish, we combine years of traditional stonemasonry experience with the latest engraving technology.

We use professional sandblasting and laser engraving machines to carve your chosen lettering deeply and crisply into the granite face. Once the engraving is complete, our craftsmen meticulously infill the lettering by hand using specialised, weather-resistant memorial paint.

Yes, you can. We offer a wide range of beautiful, standard designs that can be incorporated into your layout.

If you are looking for something completely unique, our in-house design team can also help you create fully personalised artwork to reflect your loved one's passions or personality. Please note that while standard graphics are often included, some highly complex or bespoke custom designs may incur a small additional charge.

One of the benefits of our direct-to-public service is that no complex or expensive professional fitting is required.

Because we use solid, high-quality granite, the stones are incredibly substantial. You can simply lay the memorial stone or plaque gently on the ground at your chosen resting place. Its natural weight is more than enough to keep it secure and in place without the need for ground anchors or cement.

Every cemetery, churchyard, and remembrance garden is governed by its own specific rules and local regulations regarding the size, material, and type of tributes allowed.

While our stones are designed to be widely accepted, we highly recommend that you double-check with your local cemetery staff or parish council before placing your order to ensure your chosen memorial fully complies with their guidelines.

Adding a full-colour porcelain image is a beautiful way to make a grave marker even more personal, and our design team is highly experienced in installing these.

Once you have purchased a memorial that includes a photo option, you can simply email us a high-quality scanned copy of your chosen picture. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can send the original physical photograph to us securely by post. We will treat it with the utmost care and return it to you completely undamaged alongside your finished memorial order.
